中考英語知識點：名詞的分類

　　一、名詞的概念：表示人、物、事、時、地等實體或抽象概念的詞叫作名詞。

　　二、名詞的分類

　　1.可數名詞的單數形式前面要用a / an, 表示特指的時候，前面要用the,謂語動詞用單數形式。

　　如：I can see a cat in the tree.

　　Could you please give me an orange?

　　The girl is a Chinese.

　　2. 不可數名詞不能按個數來計算，前面不能加a / an, 但是特指時，也要加the，在句子中謂語動詞對應地要用單數形式。

　　如：No news is good news.

　　There is lots of rice in the bag.

　　The milk in the bottle is fresh.

　　【注】不可數名詞不能用many 表示“許多”，而要用much 或者lots of 等來表示。

　　3. 集體名詞中有的詞只能當復數看待。

　　如：The Chinese people are hard-working.

　　The police are looking for the lost boy.

　　【注】也有些集體名詞被看作一個整體時，其謂語動詞要用第三人稱單數形式，但若考慮構成這個集體的各個成員時，其謂語動詞應用復數形式。這類詞包括family，class，team，group等。

　　如：My family is a large one.

　　My family are watching TV now.
