　　動(dòng)名詞

　　一、特點(diǎn)：

　　1. 動(dòng)名詞作主語時(shí)，謂語動(dòng)詞用第三人稱單數(shù)

　　2. 并列的動(dòng)名詞（短語）作主語時(shí)，謂語動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式

　　二、句法作用：

　　1. 作主語。如：

　　Reading in bed is not good for our eyes.

　　Singing and collecting are my hobbies.

　　2. 作表語（可轉(zhuǎn)換為動(dòng)名詞作主語）。如：

　　My favorite sport is playing basketball.= Playing basketball is myfavorite sport.

　　3. 作賓語。如：

　　He got well-prepared for the job interview, for he couldn’t risk losing the good opportunity.

　　常見v .+ doing sth.的動(dòng)詞（組）口訣如下：

　　喜歡想象忍不住

　　（enjoy，imagine，can’t help）

　　建議完成多練習(xí)

　　（suggest，finish，practice）

　　考慮思念不介意

　　（consider，miss，mind）

　　冒險(xiǎn)堅(jiān)持不放棄

　　（risk，keep on，give up）

　　習(xí)慣想要值得忙

　　(be used to，feel like，be worth)

　　4. 作定語（表明所修飾詞的用途、所屬關(guān)系等）。如：

　　There were many people in the waiting room before dark.
