一、并列連詞
1.and 表并列：和、又;表順承，可不譯

2.but 表轉折：但是
He failed many times, but he never gave up.
3.or 表選擇：或者、還是;表讓步：否則、要不然
Which do you like, skating or skiing?
Work hard, or you will miss the chance.
4.so表因果：所以
I got a headache, soI have to see adoctor.
5.for 表因果：因為，位于句中，側重對前句的解釋或推斷原因
I musthave rained last night, for it is wet all over.

Work hard, or you won't catch the chance.
有點類似于我們所講的條件狀語從句
二、并列連詞短語
1.both...and... 兩者都
Both my father and my mothertake good care ofme.
2.neitehr...nor... 既不...也不(單數概念)
Neither Jacknor Cindy likes going on a picnic.
3.not only...but also... 不僅而且(就近原則)
Not only the young but also the old aare interested Wechat.
4.either...or... 要么...要么;或者...或者詞(就近原則)
Eitheryou or hegets the prize.
5.not...but... 不是...而是...
Notmoney but wisdom iswhat we want.
三、從屬連詞
1.時間從屬連詞
when 當...時，既指時間點，又指時間段;可和延續性/非延續性動詞連用
Whenyou smile at others, they will smile back.
2.while 當...時，只和時間段連用，和延續性動詞連用
She is listenting to music while he is doing his homework.
3.as 正當...時;隨著...;一邊...一邊
We alwayssing as we walk.
4.as soon as 一...就...
I will call you as soon as I get home.
5.until/till 直到...為止
not until 直到...才
Our English teacher didn't go to bed until he finished his work last night.
6.since 自從(用于現在完成時)

7.before 在...之前

2.條件從屬連詞
2.1 if 如果
Ifyou work hard, you willhave agreat chance to be adimitted intoTHU.
2.2 unless 除非;如果不=if...not
Unless you work hard, you won'tbe admitted into THU.
=If you don't work hard, youwon't be admitted into THU.
2.3 as long as 只要
As long as youwork hard, you will make great progress.
3.原因從屬連詞
3.1because (直接原因，常用詞匯)
Iwas late for class because I got up late.
3.2 since(因為、竟然，用于已為人所知的原因)
Since everyone is here,let 's start.
3.3 as已知的原因，和since差不多，但是語氣比since弱
We all like her as she is kind.
4.讓步從屬連詞
4.1 although/though
一般來說although和thoug可以替換，although比較正式
Although/Though Iwas tired, I still wanted toskate.
補充：though 還可以作為副詞連用，表示然而、不過
It is so old here.I still like it, though.
4.2even though/even if 即使 (一般可以互換)
Even though/ifyou are tired,you still need to work.
4.3no matter+疑問詞，疑問詞-ever
Whatever youdo, I will love you forever.
5.結果從屬連詞
so/such...that... 如此...以至
I worked so hardthat I passed the exam.

8.疑問從屬連詞
if/whether 是否，一般來說，二者可替換
I don't knowif/whether he will come tomorrow.
