　　try 試；嘗試；試圖

　　try to do sth:

　　Whatever the boy had to do, he tried to do his best.

　　那個(gè)男孩不論要做什么，他都會(huì)盡全力去做。

　　try doing sth:

　　John isn’t here. Try phoning his home number.

　　約翰不在這兒，打他家里的電話試試。

　　（try doing sth 一般表示“嘗試做某事”，含有試試看的意味；try to do sth 則表示“努力做某事”。）

　　● try on 試穿

　　● try one’s best (to do sth) 盡最大努力(做某事)

　　● try out 試驗(yàn)
